We and our parents have labored here for an entire generation and a half, and have come to feel the heartbeat of our tico neighbors. By doing this, we are going to transform the local social and economic landscape. Grupo Lecona has watched as a generation and a half of poverty, negligence, farming malpractice, and increasing population has together led to the destruction of countless acres of natural treasures. Much of this cleared land was farmed until the soils were depleted, and then abandoned.
